Thanksgiving
November 27, 2008

Thanksgiving was at Netti's this year in Little Ferry, NJ.

Jen and I drove to Princeton Junction, then took the train. Just about the time we arrived in Secaucus, Netti's water heater kicked the bucket.

So we waited a little while at the train station. At least Mike (Netti's boyfriend) made up the time racing the Hemi Charger back to the house.

It was sort of a small gathering this year since the family was split on either coast.

Jen's counsin Sarah is expecting - actually she expected the baby six days ago. She, her husband, and her parents were in San Fransisco.

We kept in touch throghout the day via webcam. If you look close, you can see Sarah on the screen. She's the really really pregnant one.

Jen's other cousin Sam (Sarah's brother) sitting with their grandmother whose sporting the latest in leapard print warmth.

Sam's wife Megan with their son Chase. He's eight months and full of energy.

Netti's daughter Cassandra and her boyfriend Joe.

I think there was a football game on. That's why Jen's mom and I aren't paying attention to the TV Joe's brother is watching.

Ah yes. Nothing like kicking back with a Michalob Ultra and watching sweaty men in tights tackle each other.

So what if I'm wearing Danish clogs and drinking wine. At least I was having an argumentative conversation about the condition of this country with Jen's Mom.

Huh?

Netti has a new (new to her, he's 8) dog named Rocky.

Rocky wasn't impressed with the clogs so he pulled out his blue faux fur coat.

I had to leave to get home to the dogs, while Jen stayed the night. Looks like the typical after dinner scene on Thanksgiving.
