I don't completely remember the sequence of all our pictures with our vacation, but will try my best. The following picture was probably taken in the afternoon, but later in the week. When we got there Saturday, the beach was pretty empty through about Tuesday. For dinner the first night, we ate at our hotel. It was damn tasty.

Like the picture above with the sun reflecting off the water.

This was inside our room/suite looking out the the beach. In the center of the window you can see the blue that is the ocean. Our suite was
basically a one bedroom apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room area and porch.

Since we had a full kitchen and there was a store at our hotel, we bought supplies to make our own lunches and breakfasts. Of course they
sold beer (and Rum) at the store, though only Presidente the beginning part of the week. The Red Stripe showed up later in the week, though
the bar between the beach and pool had plenty of Red Stripe.

There were four strays that guarded our beach. This is one of two twin puppies relaxing in the shade during the mid-day sun. They were very
friendly except when other dogs or the woman selling hadbags and what-not came along. In addition to the dogs, there were chickens, lizards
and these curious little yellow birds all about the area. In other parts of the island, it wasn't uncommon to find goats munching along.

We really didn't take many pictures the first half of the week. We were too busy doing nothing. I guess Wednesday or so, Jen started
snapping all kinds of shots.

She was playing with different perspectives and features of the camera. This one was from the bar looking out over the beach.

A self portrait of us sitting at the bar. About mid-week and entire Italian family checked into the hotel. They were really fun to watch. It was
like our own live reality show. Many hours were spent at the bar drinking, looking out at the ocean and watching the Itailans.

Jen using a color filter to accentuate the blues in the picture.

This monster of a speedboat showed up one afternoon. A movie would have been better to capture the full effect of this beast, but the
picture is still really cool.
