Pine Creek Weekend
June 6 - 7, 2009

Swim, swim, swim.

Still swimming.

And swimming. She doesn't realize her swimming makes us slower. Oh well. She likes it and the views are nice. Bill and Cheryl on the otherhand, I'm not sure got to see the nice views.

We tried some towing, but wasn't very satisfying for either party.

Jen paddles up ahead and turns broadside to slow/stop Bill & Cheryl.

Then the water war begins.

I told Mommy & Daddy about the water cannons before the trip, but they only supplied little squirt guns for their boys. Mommy & Daddy paid dearly for their lack of preparation.

I love the way my canoe is tilted to the left as if the cannon fire pushed it that way. Reminds me of the pictures I've seen of Navy destroyers sliding in the water when their cannons fire.

Mommy & Daddy testing the power of the water cannons.

As if being soaked by them for the last hour wasn't enough.

Jake sharing some of his bad habits with me.

After swimming roughly five miles, Gretchen agrees to get back in the boat and actually lay down.

Full moon that night.
