For Christmas and her birthday Jen's dad got her an automatic garage door opener.
Saturday December 20th, I started to install it.  Maybe we'll get it working by her birthday.

Sunday November 8th on the morning ride I crashed on my mt. bike and landed hard on the palms of
my hands. At the time there was significant pain in my right hand, but what wouldn't hurt after landing
hard on rocks.

November 21st I was still experiencing pain, so I went to my Dr. She had me go over to the hospital
and get some x-rays. They didn't find a fracture, so I went on my merry way.

December 15th I'm still experiencing pain, so I make an appointment with an Orthopedic/Sports
Medicine Dr.

December 17th the Orthopedic Dr. thinks I fractured the Hook of the Hamate bone in my hand.  It's
nearly impossilbe to x-ray, so I've got an MRI (is it that time of year again already?) scheduled for
7:15am December 26th.  Merry Christmas to me.

And yes this is a picture of an actual x-ray of my hand.

December 14th we had a little snow/slush front move through the morning, so the sunday
morning ride started out snowy then turned slushy and icy.

December 5th and 6th we had our first snow storm of the season.  This photo is actually from the snow
storm the previous year in December.

For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house in Nashville, TN. November 27, 2003.

In a windstorm on November 13 this tree blew down in our front yard.
